Since 1992, the family business has been on Nybrogatan 57. The concept is many different kinds of sausages of higher quality, grilled after the order which then is served in French bread with secret, homemade sauces and sauerkraut. It has been proven to be greatly appreciated by many people.
Through the years, we have received a lot of attention from newspapers, television and radio. Among other things, Mat-Tina has visited and made a report, the BBC in England, Gyllandsposten from Denmark and we have also been recommended in the tourist books, "100 under 100" and the book "Where chefs eat" etc. We have been mentioned in several author's books, such as Jens Lapidus and Denise Rudberg and been part of hen and stage parties, made several caterings and much more.
In 2008 Stockholm City county sent a letter to denounce us at our place with our former temporary building permit. Thanks to our loyal customers protests and media we had to temporarily move to Nybrogatan 53 for about 10 months of time.
After we filed in 2014 we received a permanent planning permission with completely different conditions which made it possible for us to invest in the business and above all the building. We have therefore during most of 2015 devoted time to this and have the current situation a little better, brand new and modern kiosk where we increased our grill capacity. We now have space for 2 pieces barbecues and staff, two cash registers and terminals allowing both gender and your dog will take less time. Our aim is to give as good quality but faster than before, especially at the times of day when we have the most load ie lunches and weekends.
Now we have expanded and opened the same concept in a tiny room on Rosenlundsgatan 20 at Södermalm with the name "Brunos Korvbar".
